Mould Testing & Reporting
Airborne mould testing is a vital process used to assess the presence of mould spores in the air within homes, offices, or any indoor environment. Mould can sometimes be difficult to detect because it can grow in hidden areas, like inside walls or under carpets, while releasing microscopic spores into the air. These airborne spores can cause health issues such as allergies, asthma, and other respiratory problems, especially in vulnerable individuals. Airborne testing helps identify whether there is a high concentration of these spores, even when no visible mould is present.

The testing process is straightforward and non-invasive if required. We use specialized equipment, such as air sampling pumps, which collect air samples from different parts of the building. These samples are then sent to a laboratory for analysis, where they are examined to determine the types and quantities of mould spores in the air. This step is crucial because while some mould spores are always present in the environment, elevated levels may indicate a hidden mould problem or poor air quality that needs to be addressed.

Airborne mould testing provides valuable insights into the overall health of your indoor air. If you or other occupants have been experiencing unexplained health symptoms like sneezing, coughing, or difficulty breathing, and you suspect mould might be involved, this type of testing can confirm whether the air quality is compromised.
Based on the results, we’ll provide clear recommendations on what steps to take next, generally a test and report will be accompanied with a quote for treatment and TAP to help limit future mould growth.

The cost for this service starts at $300 for two indoor samples with an external control sample with a cost of $50 per additional sample.
